A week of wind, beach and kiting with like-minded people. We take care of lessons, gear and a bed.
A kite week without the planning
On a kite camp you stay in our guest house or one of our apartments in Tarifa and ride every day with our team: as a beginner in lessons, or as an advanced rider with Help 2 Kite.
Camps run from 15 September to 15 June. You choose the arrival day to match your flight. On no-wind days there are SUPs, surfboards, surf skates and beach volleyball.
Since 2025 you can also combine your camp with a German Bildungsurlaub (educational leave) course from Work Surf Balance.

Where you stay
A guest house around 200 m from the beach and apartments with roof terraces and sea views. All are close to each other and to our station.

Educational leave and kitesurfing
Employees in most German states are entitled to paid educational leave (Bildungsurlaub). With Work Surf Balance you combine accredited seminars on mental health, marketing or office & AI with a kite camp in Tarifa.

When do the kite camps run?
From 15 September to 15 June of the following year. You agree the arrival day with us to match your flight.
Can complete beginners join a kite camp?
Yes. Choose the kite camp with lessons or the premium camp with semi-private lessons. We start from zero.
Can I travel on my own?
Yes, many guests come alone. In the guest house you live like in a small surfer flat share with your own room and meet people quickly.
Are flights included?
No. Camps include accommodation, lessons or Help 2 Kite and gear. Book your own flight, ideally to Málaga, Seville, Jerez or Gibraltar.
Is there a single room?
Yes, for a surcharge. Ask us about availability for your dates.
How much wind is there in winter?
Tarifa regularly gets wind in winter too, with mild temperatures. On average February and March are even the windiest months. More in Kitesurfing in Tarifa.
