No need to check your kit in. Our shop in Tarifa has current gear from Airush, CORE, VÆRIAL and AK ready for Poniente and Levante. We have kite sizes for every kiteable condition here, always up to date.
Every set comes with a short briefing. If you do not feel fully confident on your own yet, combine rental with Help 2 Kite: we show you the spot, stay nearby and pick you up by boat in offshore wind.
With Test & Buy you can try kites and boards from CORE, Airush and VÆRIAL before buying. If you buy, we credit up to 3 rental days.

Deposit and damage
- Deposit: €150 up front.
- Repairable damage is charged at a flat €80 per damage.
- For loss, irreparable damage or wilful destruction, the current value is charged.
Our recommendation: VDWS SafetyTool
This annual VDWS insurance covers damage to rented gear up to €2,000 (€50 excess), plus liability and accident cover. According to VDWS it costs €39 a year plus VAT. We recommend taking it out before you rent, and we are happy to tell you more beforehand.

Do I need experience to rent kite gear?
You should be able to ride independently and safely. If you are unsure, book rental plus Help 2 Kite, and we will be by your side with spot guide and rescue.
Can I swap kite size if the wind changes?
Just ask. We put together the set for the day and help when the wind changes.
What is Test & Buy?
You test new or used gear from CORE, Airush or VÆRIAL. If you buy it afterwards, we credit the rental, up to 3 rental days.
Can I insure myself against damage to rented gear?
Yes, we recommend the VDWS SafetyTool. It covers damage to rented gear up to €2,000 with a €50 excess and includes liability and accident cover. We are happy to tell you more beforehand.
How much is the deposit?
€150. Repairable damage costs a flat €80; for loss or irreparable damage the current value is charged.
Where do I pick up the gear?
At the Tarifa Surf Club & VÆRIAL Flagship Store, C/ Mar Adriático 23 & 24, Tarifa.
